In this session learn how to: 

  • Locate Acts, Secondary Legislation (also known as Regulations) and Bills.
  • Browse and search a commentary publication
  • Quickly access an Act, or a section of an Act using the Global Search Bar
    • Locate historic and future legislation in the History Tab.
    • Identify the related Annotated and Discursive Commentary, Book Chapters and Case Law.
  • Conduct a topic-based search using plain language and/or terms and connectors.
    • Refine and filter search results.
    • Annotate, print, download, email and save content to a folder in Westlaw New Zealand.
    • Create a search alert to be notified by email of new search results.
