/
Content updates

Under the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011, where an application for a recognition order raises a question of tikanga, the Court may obtain the advice of a court expert, a pūkenga.

For new commentary in McGechan on the role of pūkenga, the requirements for appointment, and considerations for the Court on whether to appoint, and who to appoint, see [HR9.36.03].
