Every week the Thomson Reuters hard copy environmental newsletter YourEnvironment publishes summaries of recent environmental cases, alongside links to current news items and legislative changes. The summaries cover cases of interest from the District Court, Environment Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court and are written by our inhouse Environmental editorial team. The summaries are also published online in Alert 24 – Your Environment.

We have identified an opportunity to add these summaries as case synopses in Westlaw Essential. As a result, those published in YourEnvironment from January 2024 onwards are being attached to the associated case records. 

The addition of these summaries enhances our collection of case synopses and widens the scope of the KeyNumber search.
