2 out of the 3 books nominated for the 2013 JF Northey Memorial Book Award published by Thomson Reuters

Authors Peter Devonshire (Account of Profits) and Richard Boast (The Native Land Court) whose books were published in 2013 have been shortlisted for the prestigious 2013 J F Northey Memorial Book Award.

Ian McIntosh and Renay Taylor, Thomson Reuters NZ Product Development Managers, commented that it is immensely gratifying to see Peter and Richard’s dedication, hard work and scholarship recognized with nominations for this award.

The third nomination, published by LexisNexis, is Subordinate Legislation in New Zealand by authors Ross Carter, Ryan Malone, and Jason McHerron.

The  annual J F Northey Memorial Book Award  is one of several sponsored by the New Zealand Legal Research Foundation to support, acknowledge and celebrate excellence in legal writing.

The winners will be announced on Monday 9 June 2014.
