The Declaratory Judgments Act was enacted in 1908 to provide the High Court with jurisdiction to give declaratory judgments or orders, beyond the English rules at the time. Declaratory judgments is an important remedy and this new commentary is intended to make it more accessible to practitioners and parties.

Full commentary has been included for the 1908 Act. There is an introduction (beginning at [DJIntro.01]) along with full annotated commentary (beginning at [DJ2.01]).
