/
Author updates

We are delighted to share with everyone that Dr Adrienne Paul (Ngāti Awa) has agreed to be the contributing author for our Te Ture Whenua Maori Act chapter in Family Law’s Family Property product.

This chapter provides commentary for pt 3A and pt 4 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993. Part 3A (ss 98H–98S) relates to dispute resolution and pt 4 (ss 99–121) relates to the administration of estates.

Dr Paul is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Law School, having recently moved there from four years lecturing at the University of Canterbury, Faculty of Law, Christchurch and practising law there. She has also worked in the Māori Land Court and the Environment Court. She is primarily teaching Māori land law, land law, resource management law, te Tiriti o Waitangi and Tikanga Māori in the legal context.

She has a great deal of knowledge, experience and heart in the game, and we are delighted to share this good news with our customers. Our chapter is in very good hands.
