Westlaw NZ Tip - Comparative Tables
Help from our trainers: comparing different versions of legislation using tables
Did you know that in several Westlaw NZ databases there are comparative tables?
These provide a useful comparison of legislation versions eg the old District Courts Rules with the current District Rules (see diagram):
To find the comparative tables, from the home page - expand the table of contents until you see the relevant titles. The example below comes from the Land Law database:
Click on the title for the comparative table you want to look at. A screen similar to the one below will appear, in which you will see a list of sections for both the old and the new legislation, with links to each of them.
