Westlaw NZ Update: Official legislation PDFs
Westlaw NZ now includes over 18,000 New Zealand Government PDF versions of legislation alongside Thomson Reuters’ own detailed legislation content.
Thomson Reuters’ online legislation has long included detailed History Notes and Historical Text, which clearly show how provisions were worded prior to their amendment and make it easier and quicker to understand how the legislation has been amended at different points in time.
Complementing this, the New Zealand Government PDFs provide the familiar Government “print” view of all assent and consolidated (post amendment) versions of legislation from 3 September 2007. These are the same PDFs found on the legislation.govt.nz website. Those that display the New Zealand Coat of Arms on the first page are official. New legislation PDFS are added as they become available.
