Where do you go on Brookers Online to see what legislation is going to be affected by the passing of a Bill into law?

Follow these steps.

1.
Start on Brookers Online homepage.
From the databases select NZ Law Partner Legislation and Cases as shown in the screen shot below.

2.
Open Updater which will give you information on new legislation and Bills currently before Parliament.

The topics Updater covers are listed in the left sidebar Table of Contents. 

4.
To open a list of legislation to be amended click  on the heading  Current Bills (as in the screen shot).  The list is arranged in alphabetical order. To open a current Bill click on its title. 

5.
To see a list of proposed bill changes and the legislation it will affect click on the heading Proposed Bill changes (as in the screen shot).
Scroll the page down until you find what you want.
Click a title under these headings to open it: The Bill, Legislation Amended, Sections Amended.
