Westlaw (New Zealand) - Legal Research Essentials for Students

Students will learn to skillfully navigate, access and retrieve legal materials and implement effective legal research strategies. This session introduces new Westlaw (New Zealand) and highlights the power of the Global Search Bar to locate relevant legal content.

The session introduces new Westlaw (New Zealand) and focuses on navigating the site to locate legal content.

Learn how to use the Global Search to locate information quickly. Search techniques using both Natural Legal Language and Terms and Connectors to search for Legislation, Cases, Journals and Commentary will be discussed. Downloading and exporting content will also be covered.
