The Practical Law Australia Advisory Board held its final board meeting for 2017 at Thomson Reuters Pyrmont office last week.
The meeting was chaired by Peter Butler OAM RFD (Herbert Smith Freehills) and also attended by board members the Hon Reginald Barrett (NSW Supreme Court), Carolyn Austin (K&L Gates) and Rachel Launders (General Counsel, Nine Entertainment).
The Practical Law Australia team presented on a round-up of enhancements made in 2017, including current awareness emails, document automation powered by Contract Express, the In-house Resource Centre, and What's Market.
We also showcased our brand-new practice area, Competition & Consumer Protection, and discussed the impact of recent law changes for both law firms and in-house counsel.
The Advisory Board advised on the particular challenges currently facing law firms and in house counsel, and considered how Practical Law should continue to develop in order to assist practitioners in their day-to-day work.
Thomson Reuters and the Practical Law Australia team look forward to working closely with the Advisory Board again in 2018, as we work together to deliver the best possible know-how and solutions to our customers.
