Starting from October 16th, case documents will include a table of contents in the left pane, making it easier to navigate and find specific sections like the synopsis, digest, orders, judgment, all citations and footnotes.

Did you know that there are a wide range of legal books available on Westlaw? This content, previously classified as A-Z of New Zealand Law, is now labelled ‘Books’ in Westlaw, making individual titles easy to locate.

Starting from June 13th, filters will be relocated to a separate pane alongside with content types, eliminating the need for excessive scrolling.

Starting from June 13th, you can personalise your Westlaw homepage by selecting a default tab.

Westlaw New Zealand case search results will offer sorting by "Most Cited" and display citing references count starting June 13th, 2024.

History, Folders, Favourites, Custom Pages will be moved to a dedicated tab called "My Content".

Links that were previously accessible under the region dropdown menu have been relocated to a dedicated tab called "International".

Users can now sort journal documents by volume, issue and page number.

We are very happy to announce the release of our Forms & Precedents 2.0 collection of publications. These are enhanced versions of the existing Forms & Precedent publications improving findability and functionality for users.

Due to accessibility issues, we are removing case images from the search results.
